Privacy
Waiver has no accounts and no sign-in. Waiver itself sets no cookies, but the ads on it can, as described under Advertising below.
What is collected
Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages are viewed, the site that sent you, and your country, device and browser type. It uses no cookies and does not track you across other sites. Waiver sees only totals, never who you are.
Your comparisons
The players and settings you compare are kept in the page's address, in your own browser, so a link can be shared. Nothing about them is stored anywhere else.
Other services the page uses
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and GitHub may log visitors' IP addresses for security, as its privacy statement describes. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives the usual information any web request sends.
Advertising
Waiver is free to use, and pages on it can show ads from Google AdSense, which pay for running it. Google and its partners use cookies to serve those ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, turn off personalised ads in Google's ad settings, or opt out of other companies' personalised ads at aboutads.info.
What Waiver does not do
It does not collect names or email addresses, and it keeps no data about you to sell. Google's ads are the only advertising on the site. If that ever changes, for example to add a newsletter, this page will be updated first.
